Let us examine our ways and test them, and let us return to the LORD. Lamentations 3:40 NIV
Are your ways focused on God or are you off course?
The only way to know the answer to the above question is to spend time examining and evaluating your thoughts, actions and ways.
Oswald Chambers writes in My Utmost for His Highest, “Compare this week in your spiritual life with the same week last year to see how God has called you to a higher level.”
Spend time examining and comparing your days. Can you see how you’ve grown over the course of the last year? Or have you been led off course? Is it time for a course correction?
Continually test and examine your ways.

Alene, So funny that you posted this...not funny really...God sent more like it. I just finished a study in Lamentations and I just (by "accident") picked up my journal from almost exactly a year ago. I realized that I still am dealing with some of the issues that troubled me last year, but others have been improved through putting in God's hands.

Deborah,
WOW! Thanks for sharing. Examining our lives is hard, but so essential to growth.
Blessings!
