Give Thanks

Give thanks to the Lord, for He is good! His faithful love endures forever. Psalm 118:1

Have you looked at your week’s calendar yet? If it looks anything like mine it is full of to-do’s to get ready for the Thanksgiving holiday ahead. It seems somewhere in the midst of the hustle and bustle of Thanksgiving week I always lose the reason we celebrate this special day.

This year, I plan to slow down. I’ve made a date to sit down, think back on 2009 and give thanks to the Lord for the blessings He’s sent my way.

In remembering how God has blessed us, we can share His goodness with others. Psalm 118:17 says, “live to tell what the Lord has done.” May we live to remember all we have to be thankful for and in so doing, tell others of His goodness and love.
