Radiance Within

He has covered me with clothes of salvation and wrapped me with a coat of goodness. Isaiah 61:10a

Do you ever feel unnoticed? Maybe you feel unattractive or just plain Jane?

You’ve tried shopping for more clothes and a new hair style; however, they only help for a while. If you want permanent change, you must learn to see yourself as God sees you. He sees you as "a bridegroom dressed for his wedding, like a bride dressed in jewels." Isa. 61:10b

God sees you as a radiant bride. You have a smile on your face and oodles of love in your heart.

Look to God for His love to change the way you see yourself. You will then find the radiance of a bride deep within your soul.

Keep it simple - in marriage, grief, joy, whatever. Even in ordinary things - your daily routines of shopping, and so on. 1 Corinthians 7:29-30

How we love to complicate our lives? If we are not careful our days become routines of juggling school schedules, work schedules, meetings, phone calls, babysitters, meals and even shopping.

I so appreciate my friends who are organized. Not only are their daily planners organized, but their schedules, shopping lists and family times are too. Because organization is not one of my natural abilities, I think I complicate things more so as I strive to be like my friends. However, it is not about being like my friends. It is about keeping it simple in every ordinary thing I do, so that I have time to spend with the Lord, hear Him and obey.
